In addition to monthly meetings, The Licking River Kennel Club hosts and attends several community events each year. Annually, two American Kennel Club Dog Shows are held at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds in Lancaster, Ohio. Showcasing over 400 registered AKC breeds, these competitions bring human-canine combos from various states throughout the U.S. to compete in the fields of Conformation, Agility, Obedience and Rally.

Throughout the year, The Licking River Kennel Club also holds local community events and seminars for persons interested in learning beyond traditional training courses. These events have included:

  • Herding
  • Canine Massage
  • Pet First Aid
